Was wondering if Lasogga was actually on the pitch last Friday he did so little..looked overweight as well.

Yep..thought that was a mistake as well as he has the experience as well as a bit of steel in midfield.

Bridcutt spent much of last season and certainly the latter half doing nothing and get only not being the midfield general I think we all thought he could be, given earlier performances.
We need that hard but resilient spine, very much a missing element atm. Just as important is consistency and I wonder (like a few others) if starting without Lassogga might help to get us back to that early season kind of performance?

Didnt take it for a moment that you were, honestly, just that Bridcutt was his own worse enemy, given chances to shine ( in a team that after all was up in the playoff zone for much of the season, so performing reasonably well) and just didn't.
