Tootle and Yates tend to go down like they have been shot but you won't see me arguing if it gains us an advantage.

Duffy does the same thing in every match (falling over backwards when up against a striker challenging for high balls) not convinced about him defending in this way, luckily we have Brisley who can challenge correctly.

To be fair to Yates, when he goes down, he is hurt. He just puts his body where no one else does. Like when the Lincoln player got the red, it was a headable and the other player put his foot in, he puts his head in so he'll always give the ref something to do with the other player

It seems unfair to rate anyone better than the rest because this result was built on a true team performance where every single player gave their all. It would have been easy to throw in the towel after such a poor start, but instead the team stuck at it and were rewarded with a fully deserved win. If I had to name a couple of key players, I'd go for Ryan Yates and Elliott Hewitt for their fantastic workrate which won the midfield battle and allowed us to play some most creative and classy football since the Munto era. Make no mistake, over the 90 minutes we looked the team from the higher level. We've stuttered to a few home wins this season, but last night was a different level which should give the squad the confidence to take on anyone.

My MOM was Hewitt . Now there is no doubt this lad as suffered due to his versatility but last night he was everywhere , pity he wasn't born in England otherwise he would have every chance of playing for Wales .

Could not agree any more with this Elite.... to criticize any player after last night is plain ridiculous

I could perhaps take the criticism over certain players if it was offset with at least some praise for the rest or the teams performance, it’s obvious that some on here (and elsewhere) want the team, club, KN and AH to fail, very very sad.

Stead was dead on his feet, looked absolutely exhausted for the few minutes before he came off. Talk about giving everything.

The transformation of Elliot Hewitt under Nolan has been staggering. His work-rate in our midfield last night was phenomenal, and as a tall lad the extra aerial power he gives us in that part of the pitch should not be under-estimated. Most us wouldn't have trusted him as a back-up full-back last season, and we would have rolled around laughing at the idea that he could become one of our most reliable players. Fair play to him, and to the manager for seeing that ability in him.
