It seems unfair to rate anyone better than the rest because this result was built on a true team performance where every single player gave their all. It would have been easy to throw in the towel after such a poor start, but instead the team stuck at it and were rewarded with a fully deserved win. If I had to name a couple of key players, I'd go for Ryan Yates and Elliott Hewitt for their fantastic workrate which won the midfield battle and allowed us to play some most creative and classy football since the Munto era. Make no mistake, over the 90 minutes we looked the team from the higher level. We've stuttered to a few home wins this season, but last night was a different level which should give the squad the confidence to take on anyone.
PS any poster using this thread to have a dig at individual players has to be a sad b@stard with an agenda.
