Well I haven't mentioned Europe or a relegation scrap but I tell you what-many more displays like this afternoon's second half and we'll certainly be a lot closer to the latter than the former.

If folk aren't at least a bit worried then they should think again.

Now I´m reading that the team selection is wrong and we´re playing boring and negative football. I get the impression that if we were second in the table, some would be complaining that we weren´t first.

How can anyone expect positive tactics and free flowing attacking football from a limited squad such as ours? It´s like Rafa is being punished for the good start we have made, having raised expectations. If we were down at the bottom of the table with Palace, would people be asking us to attack more?

It´s like he said yesterday, if we had beaten Burnley then people would be talking about Europe. Now we lost people are talking about a relegation scrap. He must be laughing his t*ts off at some of our supporters.
    Well said man!

Some people are daft. However you must agree Rafa made mistakes with his substitutions.

We should have won the game by half time but the board tied Rafa's hands with the striker situation in the summer. That said why not give Mitro any minutes?!!!!

I'm afraid replacing Joselu with Perez and Atsu with Murphy handed the game to them.

Bit unfair, Atsu had a problem and Murphy was the obvious choice. Perez for Joselu on the other hand was a stupid change imo.

Mitro must have been chomping at the bit to get amongst those Bournmouth defenders. Perez first contribution was to get caught offside and spent the rest of the time falling down.

Fair point regarding Atsu, GED. Perez, however, has been awful for weeks. Gayle needed someone to unsettle their defence so he could hopefully take advantage and the only thing unsettling about Perez is the amount of hair gel he uses.

The Perez - Joselu swap was madness.

Mitro would of been perfect in this scenario.

Murphy is not up to it. The two times he tried to go forward he lost the ball and the second led to the corner/goal. Not up to it I'm afraid and from what we've seen so far the £12 million should have gone towards a proper striker. The striker situation HAS to be sorted in January whether we are sold or not.

Much as i trust what Rafa's doing, this purchase was a head-scratcher at the time and now actually looks like a mistake. The whole world knew we needed a striker-if we'd spent £17 million (Murphy's fee plus Joselu) you'd like to think we'd have someone who could actually hit the target. Rafa wanted Murphy so I'm sure he'll come good but currently he's not fit for purpose...and neither is our strikeforce.

I can't say this with absolute certainty but i'm pretty sure we brought murphy in at a time when Rafa was still under the impression he had money to spend.
