No wonder the economy sank at the time!

THAT's how to invest time and money. Hats off to you

And yes, I recall the Pop side wave effect too, at its most extreme in my recollection for the Derby/Forest cup tie in '83 when I didn't just lose a shoe I lost a whole person - I took my overweight, not too steady on his feet boss to the game, should have given him a lift home, didn't see him from the first goal til the following monday, he apparently left because he was genuinely scared for his safety

Maybe it's the stature of our club but we have a tendency of getting keepers when past their best - Burridge, Shilton, Carroll, Roger Jones.

I actually liked Graeme Moseley - maybe keepers are a bit like Doctor Who, you like the one you grew up with - but I thought he stood pretty firm most of the time (no mention of Hillsborough please) and at a time when we had some real crap (Dave McKellar, John Middleton) he seemed to actually know how to catch a ball.

One keeper who I thought was very over rated was Butland - when he was here on loan I thought he was really flappy, poor distributor and didn't inspire confidence.

    Poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went on a trip to Estonia a few years back to play cricket, and there were quite a few Rams scarves being worn, obviously gave a good impression.

What a keeper... until he scored against us!

Afraid to say that all I lost was a rather warm fur hat in the Popside tsunami during the FA Cup win over Liverpool in 1976 ish (1-0 Davies). probably crowd surfed about 100 yards up and down and round about the stand with feet barely touching the ground. Ah the good old days

Should be a Boulton shoo in right? But don't forget you did have our very great, Peter Shilton too with you. What about Fielding? Mark Poom? Or Scotty Carson?

Only one keeper head and shoulders above any others although he didn't arrive until he was around 38 was Shilton
If only he would of signed 10 years eariler

He was very good eddy, although imo he almost certainly wouldn’t have made it at all in today’s game, so poor was his kicking game.
Personally I preferred Poom although, widening the search...Banks, Jennings and Clemence are the best I’ve ever seen with Andy Goram not far behind.

Without Shilton. Forest wouldn.t have even been close to winning The 2 European Cups or the League

Precisely, even though we had Jim Montgomery and Woods, without Shilton, no European Cups. And probably no League title either.

Agree with all that's been said. Shilts is probably the best but Green, Poom, Boulton all class acts. Boulton a real Club man whilst Greenie made the 'throw out' to start an attack an art form!! But I got as much pleasure watching and admiring that colossus Reg Matthews!! When he did Alex Dawson.....ah man sheer unadulterated brutality but the guy thoroughly deserved it!!
