Sorry Clive, got my lefts and rights muddled up, yes I know wilks is a striker, some clubs are sniffing around and soon it will come to the point of giving him a contract or letting him go.

He was giving a new contract in the summer and has scored 3 in 15 for Accrington. I'd rather he stayed there and keeps improving, it isn't like he has scored 10 in 15 and is lighting the league up, he's doing ok and looks exactly like what he is a young player with some potential but not quite ready for a step up in level quite yet.

Find it amazing how everytime we go on a bad run bringing every youngster we have on our books seems to be the answer. BPF has proved little in his time at York other than that he isn't incompetent, he conceded a lot of goals in non league football, that doesn't make me think he is ready for this league nor does it make me think he isn't good enough and it is a similar story for Wilks who has had more game time scoring 3 goals and putting in a few good performances but as yet nothing special other than potential, yes the papers may be saying clubs are 'interested' but they're not interested in him to come into their first team, they're interested in him being a first teamer in 2/3 years, that said it probably and most likely is newspaper nonsense as I can't see why they would be, the link to Boro is incredibly lazy and I'm sure we will see Coyle and BPF linked with them as well.

I hope Wilks and BPF become good players for us but they're not the answer at the moment, we need them to get proper first team experience and develop + prove themselves at a lower level much like Charlie Taylor did. Coyle and Denton I'm not convinced, think they'll be lower league players at best, good ones but nothing more.
