At half time I watched the young lads playing 5 a side. They seemed to have an identical tactic but with less players.

millertop think this is warneys way of thinking. Just think with 1 upfront we're not going to get much out of games . like a caller on radio de da said just to predictable 2 or more defenders all over kiefer at moment and not getting anything from it bar odd free kick .Got to try and hold ball upfield more to take pressure of defence ,because if your like me i have to shut my eyes when ever the ball is put into our box.

Miller75. Tbh you can play whichever formation you want but as you say we lump it to Moore 8 out of 10 X it's coming back. So changing the formation alone won't work. Take a look at the Portsmouth highlights. For 85 minutes we hoofed the ball. For 5 min we play football and score.

If you had a choice from the whole squad. Who would you play in the 442 formation?

but if we played 2 upfront or 1 just behind it would at least give there defenders a bit more to think about and hopefully bring a midfielder or 2 into play at same time because as of donny and shrews game there defenders had relatively little to contend with . at least if we played it up to kiefer and he tries to bring it down and miss controls it we would have a better chance of keeping hold of it . like I said we could play 352 and cover both bases.
