This is down to the so called Financial fair play, with regards ratio of players wages. Albion play to the rules others bend them.

I've more hope now than I had under Pulis over the past year.
    Welcome Alan.

Totally and completely underwhelmed. Ambivalent feelings toward Alan Pardew. John Carver seemed lost when he was No 1. Here's hoping he is more comfortable as No 2. Up the Baggies!!!

Absolutely right, although we still have a little money to spend, Krychowiak's wages took us to the limit of FFP in terms of salary. So we will possibly have to ship out to bring in anymore.

Yes and Financial Fair play ensures the big clubs remain the big clubs and why, except for the odd freak season such as Leicester, they remain that way. The big city clubs with massive gate income, plus overseas income as well as Champions League money and disproportionate tv money will always have more to spend than the others.

At least when investors could plough loans into the club there was a remote possibility that the status quo could change sometime if a wealthy benefactor was found but FFP even takes that option away. However if FFP is scrapped then are we likely to attract a wealthy owner likely to do a Man City or Chelsea on us - make your own mind up but a definite no from me.

Whichever way you look at it ever since we went down this PL route everything is stacked so that the top 6 get the income that they want and the rest of us pick up the scraps, until sometime in the future when they decide that PL isn’t giving them enough and then they create the European Super league with the other mega greedy big clubs across Europe.
