George Hirst assuming he's sorted his differences out with the Snorters

Unless it's changed in the last two weeks he still hasn't sorted his contract out.
    Good choice though Basher.
Leicester bid £2M for him in August and Leeds had an approach turned down.
    Don't rule Ben Pringle out.
Ask Uncle Colin to twist Omar Bogles arm up his back and get him up here on loan till end of season.

    Tongue firmly in cheek.........LOL

So much for building for the future.

Get loans in, they bugger off in the summer and then we're back to square one.

Get ready for a January of irons in fires, our deals will be complete in 48 hours and then the transfer window slams shut with the panic signing of some 19 year old premiership defender who nobody has ever heard of and who ultimately turns out to be crap!!

If we are seriously putting a bid in for Moore that gets turned down why not put a bid in for someone we can afford but young enough & not here for his early retirement. Why not generate some funds, Taylor, Forde & Newell any or all of them can go.

Casper64Frank if we are going down the loan route Bogle not a bad shout.

Yeah, let's get rid of the majority of our wingers and replace them with a centre forward. That's genius. I wonder why nobody else has thought of that?

But if those three are as useless as you seem to think they are, what makes you think anyone would take them off our hands?

Also, just to be clear, do you not rate Taylor at the moment? It's just you've said he's both rubbish and our best winger at different times this season, it's really hard to keep up with.

To be fair the form of many of our players is very erratic.
Not sure I'd get rid of players just because of a dip in form though

Only thing I can conclude is. Moore goes back 1st January. Mick m looks at him for 3/4 week if he doesn't seem fancy him offers him to us.
Meanwhile PW has to decide. I have X amount to spend in January. If Moore comes available at the end of January do I blow my budget on 2/3 signings or save it for Moore!
Hmmm. Maybe he's thinking loans because he knows more than we do regards Moore..

Or maybe he has no budget to spend

    Yep, that's about it.

Do you notice how the announcements change as the season progresses?

It starts with were signing 4 new players, then 2 new players and two loans, then maybe one player and some loans, ending up with just loans (which we don't get anyway)

From the players warne brought in last summer.
    Rodak
    Cummings
    Emmanuel
    Ihiekwe
    Ball
    Moore
    Williams
    Proctor
    Onariase.
    Potter
    Towell

How many of these would you not keep?
For me there's only Emmanuel, Cummings n rodak who are not showing true form.
Let's see what warne does in January be it loans or permanent signings
though if you compare his hit to miss ratios Vs Evans for example he's not doing bad, so far

Taylor is a sellable asset, we can better. Like Forde he's not a winger. Newell gone backwards this season. I wouldn't miss any of those 3. Get Bailey-King back & sign another winger. It's about generating funds.
