We've been in the auto-positions, (which is where we all want to be...), and I for one want to be back in them, not drifting down to mid-table. The time to take the opportunity is now, when its in front of us.
I said we would surprise a lot before the season started and we have certainly done that. The number of grunters I know were saying 6 easy points for them. Also Dingles and Leeds fans the same. As it turned out it’s been 9 easy points for us. I have faith in Chris to do the job.

Wilder has done a sensational job. I'd give him free rein on anything he wanted to do with the club right now. However we are right in the mix, and we shouldn't accept missing this opportunity because we've done better than we expected already. I remember some of the oinkers saying how they were pleased they didn't beat Hull because it had come too soon and they'd be in a much better position to stay up when they got promoted the year after. Wonder how that went...?

I think you’re spot on FTB, we should certainly try to strike while the iron is hot in January. McCabe as much as anybody should know that as things stand we need to make hay while the sun shines. I’m not saying we should throw daft money at it because if it all goes pair shaped we could be up the creek without a paddle like Wednesday are right now, but if ever there was a case of grasping the nettle and speculating to accumulate it’s now.

Put Freeman or Baldock back in that team. Put Bash back at CB and even losing Coutts would be a mere ripple, not a tsunami.
I think Bristol are going to suffer a Wilder Whirlpool!
