Who knows what was going on between him and Murray for him to react as he did. Obviously, he was annoyed about the penalty because Murray definitely conned the ref and was very clever in doing so. There could well have been a lot of other things going on and Tarks should not have reacted as he did, however, I am sure that Sean will have had something to say to him in private because he could well face a ban.
At the end of the day, he still did his job and we didn't concede. He has been a solid part of our defence this season and I am shocked that, because of one stupid actoin, fans think that we should get rid.
Having said that, one apsect which nobody ever takes into consideration is the fact that he may have something happening in his private life that was preying on his mind --it isn't Football Manager --it is real life.

From MoTD that’s the second pen he’s given away when the player hasn’t been a threat as Murray had his back to goal and hooked his leg between Tarks to go down, Ramsey was never going to reach the header. Both soft.
Would be good to get one!
The elbow was in the ribs not the face and Murray made the most of it, lucky the ref didn’t see it. I had always been very impressed by his coolness. Let’s hope this was a one off, but other teams will look to play on him now they have seen this.
I too don’t want to lose him and speculation has died down for now.
Daft push on Ramsey that cost us one point that was in the bag, stupid foul yesterday on Murray for the penalty, followed by a silly elbow that would have had earned him a red card and another penalty if the referee had seen it.
If £30 million is on the table for Tarkowski let him go or extend his contract and keep him. We could alternatively buy Liam Moore for £7 million and we are quids in...
And just for sinkov, we can always bring "Young Tom" Anderson back!
I worry about us losing Tarko BT, he's that good, but it won't be in January. There's no financial reason to sell him, and Dyche is not going to be in the least bit worried about him, a defender giving his opponent one in the ribs, wouldn't surprise me if Sean said, 'Good lad, just what I'd have done, just don't make it so obvious next time'.
Seems to me we're having such a good season we're now getting desperate for something, anything, to worry about.
one mistake cost us a point and almost again yesterday- he is a professional and gotta learn to leave his private life at home for 90 minutes like the rest of us have to - what issues he got anyway ?
I believe he wanted to come back up north because his mother was ill, whether this is what's being alluded to now I've no idea, but whatever it shouldn't affect his performance on the field. Do we need to be looking for reasons/excuses anyway ? He's played 18 games in a team that probably spends more time in it's own penalty area than any other in the league, end result, just 12 goals conceded, 9 clean sheets, a couple of very dubious penalties conceded and a stray elbow.
Hardly a reason to be pressing the panic button, I'd have happily settled for that at the start of the season.
No issues as far as I know, however, it is still a fact ignored by the majority of fans because it is a possibility.
I know that he is a professional and you expect that he would get on with things, however, there can be things in your personal life which can affect performance just as there are things which happen on the pitch thatt can affect how you react.
Ask Zinedine ZIdane![]()
Maybe this but he’s a professional and it shouldn’t affect his play as you say.

I've no problem with Tarka,if you are going to get your own back on somebody,I would suggest it would be better do it outside the penalty area,he's been the outstanding player for us so far and hopefully he will carry on being so.
As for the Ramsey incident I think Tarka was caught from behind by an ankle tap and just put his hands up instinctively to stop himself falling, unfortunately Ramsey the cheat made a meal out if it .....
