We're very poor this season, John, and your new manager seems to have hit the ground running so I'm not hopeful.

Cheers, John. Same to you, mate. I've included a link to the nufc.com report on the game (fans, not club) and I'd be interested to hear your take on what they thought of the London Stadium?

hello mate, very difficult to disagree with that report tbh!
we ( us supporters) are hoping the owners will sell up sometime soon, perhaps then we can make the neccessary changes to the stadia!
till then it is what it is i'm afraid.
    take care now

    What changes can you make?

Is it your stadium? I thought it was rented for a really low sum?

no it belongs technically to the lldc, we did originally want to buy it and redevelop it but Tottenham and Leyton Orient vetoed the move, hence the title the 'taxpayers stadium' we are atmo only tenants for an annual fee of 2.5 mill per season, this also includes staffing groundsmen, policing, electricity etc etc, a steal really, not our fault we only pay the rent

now that Birmingham have got the Commonwealth games and the LLdc are or is bust, chances are we'll get the stadia anyway if only to save the taxpayers money, the stadia makes an annual loss of about 10 mill a year having to switch to football or concert/ athletics mode (seating).
