What a very generous interpretation! Seems the Christmas spirit has even cracked the curmudgeonly Swale 😉

I was going to start a thread asking the question ‘did NOT signing a player kick start our season?’, you obvs agree, I think many would now.

We do have a lack of mobility in our 3 DMs but their class overshadows that IMO. Whether it would in the PL is another question and I fear that you can only get away with 1 "donkey" in the PL at most. For us, provided he can stay fit, that would be GT considering the age of the other 2.

I seem to have missed something. I don't get the "gay" references................

Oh wow, Smally returning to post. Brum must have really did his gut in.

Yeah, Brum are a boring side, like from time immemorial, if I'm asked to describe them, the word 'boring' or 'dull' always seem to pop up.

Not forgetting their less than classy jibes at Villa. Rivalry and all that jazz for sure, but Villa have always been a 'legendary side' in the top flight and their mockery of Villa's recent failings this century, I felt unjustified. So yeah, Birmingham did do better a few seasons when they were in the Prem, won a Cup too, but to suggest that they are the 2nd city's bigger team beggars belief.
