    Great player on his day, but yeah I reckon he'll leave as well, if not in Jan then in the summer. Too unreliable, too hit and miss. Shame that he'll never learn his lesson - with a bit of discipline and hard work, he could become class. Regular class.

    I think Shelvey's one of those players who'll never rise beyond a 'could have been' player. When he's on it, he's brilliant but how often is he at that level? Not often enough to make up for his lack of discipline and tendency to let games pass him by, imo.

    I think shelvey is too much of a lose cannon . In his game like, he goes wandering about the place leaving massive holes in the middle of the field. When teams attack us we have no protection for the defence ...maybe play him as a number 10 IMO

    Exactly that Zip. Think a lot of it is down to laziness. Big shame really.
