.. You're only 4 points from a relegation place so don't come out with all this high and mighty stuff man ..
I know exactly where we are son, and where you are too.

The best sides I saw at Sid James last season were Fulham and Cardiff. Bristol City were canny good too. You lot failed to grasp how good a league it is and now your ground is empty as a result.

Why is it that you can barely scrape 20,000 and we got 50 thousand. Why don't you get out and support your team like we did.

As for injuries, isn't that part and parcel of football?

"Well anybody can walk it" and "it's a piss easy league" were their main statements about us last season.

So i'm really pleased to see how they are doing.

2nd bottom with over half the games gone, Coleman's honeymoon period didn't last long.

I think they'll be fine if he's allowed to spend some money, or get some loans in Jan if he gets dregs though i think they'll be in real trouble.

I genuinely think Sunderland (the club, player's and supporters ) have underestimated how hard a league it is.
I think barnsley were in top 2 for about the first 6 weeks last season. Then plummet down league

God, my post is so old, or I'm so old that I had forgotten about it.

I bet you've been listening to total sport and every other talk in to finally find an ex Newcastle pro who backs your view. But you're right about one thing, we won it.

.. Seems about the level of your imagination .. Forgive me for thinking that John Anderson has a balanced point of view ..

He has. I listen to his co-commentating all of the time, I respect his views on a lot of issues, but not on this one(I'm accepting what you're saying is true).

Many other pundits have given an opinion that it is a good league, which will get even better as more big sides drop from the PL.

Let's face it, there are about 12 sides in the PL all scratching around for 40 points, all fearing the drop. All potential Championship material. Are they rubbish too?

Ah. that's different. You've added context to his comments, which I would probably agree with in that he can afford to miss chances in the CH and not the PL given the difference in opportunities as a striker.

    Gramps. Thank you.
