I agree 100% with that statement.

It would be ironic if Ashley did 2 fantastic things as his last actions at the club: 1) getting Rafa in and, 2) selling up.

Forget results and league position for a minute.
Forget his wages and how much he earns more than Pardew.

He has been shat upon the same if not more than our other managers.

But under other managers the feeling in the stadium was poisonous, boos most games..Ashley out protests a feeling of dread going into matches.

Now we have unity and a decent feeling in the stadium that is down to Rafa no one else
He is decent human being and conducts himself in a gentlemanly way.

There is no way we would have a buyer lined up if we had mclown or Pardew as manager with all the bitterness and bile that was hanging in the air.

The club seems better run in some ways if that makes sense

couldn't agree more. rafa has done more for the whole area and community than just being manager of NUFC

and yes part of the toxic clouds etc were because the men in the hotseat didn't have any semblence of integrity about them. all they wanted to do was kiss ashleys fat arse. b ut the club is still no better run. it just seems like it
