Some good points here but we're nowhere near as good as last time we went up.
Some real quality in Arnason, Morgan, Frecklington, Pringle who would get into any Div 1 team.
Pringle hasn't lost his quality after yesterday's showing and perhaps a chance missed in the transfer market
We have no one at the moment who comes close to those few i've named

The usuals on here will respond with the fears of administration and hard coded gratitude to the man who built the new stadium (by taking out a bank loan) but......Stewart should put the club up for sale and invite offers....he won’t because he’s too pigheaded but the time will come as the attendance drops. Football is an entertainment business. Remember we once attracted the likes of Arnason, Dicko and Freks......now we have the likes of Yates and Smith.
Why would anyone want to buy the club. Donald? Rotherham United, like most football clubs, is simply a way of giving away money. Do you recall the hoardes of people rushing to buy the club when it last almost went out of business? I don't but maybe you know more than me.

It remains to be seen why the Chinese bought Barnsley and how much they will ‘invest’ in the club. I would suggest that the acquisition of Moore – unproven in the Championship and, on the face of it, not fancied by Mick McCarthy - suggests that they are not planning a massive injection of cash. My understanding is that the individuals in question are primarily involved in property development and so it may be that they have plans in that direction, possibly linked to the potential for mass Chinese tourism to Barnsley.

As for why a Russian bought Bournemouth (or Chelsea), you’d have to ask him. Some very rich people own football clubs in the same way that others might own a model railway, a share in a racehorse or vintage cars - it’s an expensive hobby.

I can’t recall a lot of foreign interest when Rotherham were last on the financial ropes, but, maybe you know more than me.

I reckon you and Donald should put your resources together and buy the club.
