If you think about it, whether you're playing at the local cricket club, local football or even a game of pool down the local, it's the element of competition that draws us to respective sports and pastimes. I also didn't bother watching a stream last night as I thought, What's the point?

City should be where they are as they have 4 of the worlds most expensive defenders and the worlds second most expensive goalkeeper although it was good to see UTD lose last night after the obscene cost of landing Sanchez. I read on the BBC site recently that City have spent more on defensive players in a 12 month period than 48 countries have spent on military defence. I think I'll be well tired of this circus before anything changes as it seems moronic to follow a team in a competition that they have no chance of not only winning but where staying in the competition is seen as success. I can see why non-league football is enticing people back in droves.

The sooner that we have a European Super League for the money bags clubs the better. Let the tv companies focus on them a we return to the norm of Saturday 3pm kick offs. Just a fantasy?

As I’ve said before....I’m not really interested in the top 6. Sure, I will watch their matches albeit somewhat half-heartedly.
A super super league would suit me fine. Again I would have a passing interest at the Barcelona - Citeh match, much preferring the Baggies vs a n other.
7th in the Premiership is top of the league for us and many others. That’s ok by me.
Let the super super league happen and leave me and my mates to enjoy our matches. Bring on Woking I say ?

Lots of bad attitude in this thread...disgusting the side we put out...there were six set pieces at which we are as good as any team in the league in the first half...where was the best exponent...sat on his arse on the bench...game conceded load of bollox.

Burnley got in their faces today and took a point. Only way to play them. Wouldn't work every game but certainly the way to go.
