Well..its win at Sheffield United or bust.

Feels like a mid table job this season but a win and a few results go our way and.........

I doubt whether any of the current top 6 has a fully (or mostly) fit squad either. What they probably do have is players with enough intelligence and self-discipline to not get sent off every other game (clearly, I exaggerate but you get the drift).

And a desire to give all in the pursuit of winning, something I haven't seen at ER for quite some time.

How often in in recent seasons with a fully fit squad could we say we should be top 6 - we may hope - this season that is a fair assessment = progress

Just looked at those 16 fixtures again..apart from 2 or 3 the rest will be involved in Promotion/Play-offs/Relegation battles and you would think they would be well up for it..just kinda makes the games look that little bit harder.

Need to stop this rot and quick..as per the fans have played their part and as per we are let down by those who take the field and represent our great club..time they ALL started putting in a shift and getting some results.

Those 4 year contracts that the majority are on need to be earned.

i'll just remind everyone that until the maths say otherwise, anything can happen, as worried as I am currently, I keep reminding myself theres still plenty of games to go

    Boro (A) winnable
    Wolves (H) hard
    Reading (A) winnable
    Wendies (H) winnable
    Bolton (H) winnable
    Fulham (A) winnable
Sunderland (H) as close to 3pt guarantee as it gets
    Preston (A) winnable
    Villa (A) winnable
    Barnsley (H)winnable
    Norwich (A) winnable
QPR (H) should be 3 pts

I got 20 points from that lot.
Most of those games are winnable with the squad we have - that does not mean I think we will win them all as the nature of football and the competitiveness of this leagues means that never happens.

the very fact it is competitive and thus more unpredictable is why I love sport so much. The journey is as important for me as a fan as the results but again only my opinion.

if it means owt, the 5 clubs I think would be tough to beat are wolves derby boro Fulham and villa, the rest if our squad was fully available could very much beat the others
