Amazes me how many fans I see suggesting we'd be better with washed up managers who have consistently failed. Strachan being the top of that list.

And Joel makes the point perfectly - Mrs O must have misread my suggestion - i said someone that would actually be likely to get us promoted - ie somebody who's already done it, proven themselves.

Steve Bruce yes. Although it would be as distasteful for us as it has been for Villa fans.

Mark Hughes no. Never got anyone promoted to my knowledge. In fact hasn't he specialised in relegation battles.

Worth reading it a bit more closely you pesky provoker Mrs O. Careful though, Tichi will be on your case.....well if he's consistent of course....

Steve Bruce can only do it with a blank cheque book and a squad already stacked with premier league players.

Very few managers around at the moment that I think would succeed with us. Only one I can think of is Marco Silva, but he has too good a reputation and will be wanted by bigger clubs probably.

Think TC gets to end of season in my eyes and see what happens. I was supportive of him but the way the team is playing is beginning to make me question his ability seeing as we have now had two abysmal long term runs of form. He had the initial burst where teams didn't know our new players/our style and hadn't found us out yet then that one run mid season other than that we've been battered week in week out and easy to play against.

schteeve is a leeds fan, surely that counts for something?! lol

for me it would be grayson, made preston into a top half team with not much money, was unfairly sacked by bates

alternatively, big mick, funny how all 3 of these guys are leeds fans!
