Look at the badge nonsense of late to amplify this question.

    What has he said wrong?

That he made a mistake.....well yes he did. He also explains that mistake in that he hired a foreign manager with little experience, which most on here criticised him for, so he is owning up to it.

That Christiansen clearly couldnt motivate them. Obvious. He also wishes TC well and says he will be a good coach

Think people are getting bent out of shape over nothing here, he is saying what people are thinking, he doesn't overly criticise TC, he just says what is blatantly obvious and what many people have said on here.

It's not the he said something, it's what he said. No need to rubbish the guy on just about every front.

He's not going to sack himself but there are Chief Executives who have in similar circumstances (the buck stops here, springs to mind).

Well its seems some people think it was okay & right to do and others think it was not needed.

I have said my piece and wont labour the point I was making any further. Though it is interesting to see the different takes on the interview.

Just wasn't pleasant, leaves an unpleasant taste.

He prob shouldnt have said so much. He gave TC the benefit of the doubt for too long in the hope that he could turn it around. Was never gonna happen. Should have put TC and the rest of us out of our misery at least 2 month ago. Might still have been in the cup and closer to the playoffs.
Theres never a nice way to sack or be sacked.

Clive, the guy is admitting that he hired a guy without doing even a cursory job of assessing his ability or competence and that he was persuaded by another failure (that he appointed), to delay the inevitable. Ok he owns the club, but FFS!!!!!!

Could have told him it was a mistake from day one.

At least we have some one in who knows the division..even if he has only won 1 in his last 16 games
