No doubt the pearls of wisdom currently residing on Grove Street would consider Eric to be yesterday's man , a dinosaur and a relic .

Probably pottering about at his home two miles from Oakwell and the man who could keep us up , right under their noses , which assumes they have a nose of course .

Hardly want a cracker in wages and could save em £6m in lost revenue .

I think his knowledge and wisdom would be priceless but more in an advisory role. Surely the guys retired by now. The blowk was the brains behind the 96/97 team in my opinion and he brought the core of youngsters into that squad though the juniors. Proven ability working with young footballers. Good shart that Animal

New owner's won't be in tune with the clubs past. Hate to admit it but they might be more in tune with what Keith Hill told us all when he took over.

They might look at it as a blank canvas. After all our history is irrelevant to them.

So the club actually don't have a plan or strategy regarding a new manager then.

On what Hecky has said in interviews - I’ve suspected the relationship between Gee Gee and Hecky was not a great one.
Then OooGerryGerry on here claims a few things.
So it would be good to hear more from Hecky about his relationship with Gee Gee.
