8 points from 13 games. I can understand anyone who disliked Pulis but can't see he would have got so few points from these games even though the football was not pretty.

If we go down - get rid of Pardew and bring in someone who is West Brom at heart who can sort out the mess!

If I was Lai now, I would take a gamble and replace Pardew with a top name now as at the moment, I can't see us even beating Huddersfield!
You keep talking about getting a top name Manager, yet you don't come up with any names. The thing is, top name managers have no appetite for relegation battles (unless you class Pulis as a top name) they only go to clubs that are in a decent position and have deep pockets, that's how they become top names in the first place.

There's still 33 points to play for that's how.

Yes you did like Pulis you hypocrite. It's here. On this message board. In black and white. In fact if you remember you "spoke for the majority who sang his name".

I am not in to liking or disliking anybody whether it's at football or business level. I am in to someone doing their job effectively, and Pulis did a lot of good for the club before he quite rightly had to go, which was the right decision. That said, the timing of Pulis going was wrong, and doubt whether Pulis would have got a pathetic 8 points from the next 13 league games had he stayed.

Fact is - Pulis did not stay, but West Brom being West Brom, gave Pulis a whopping pay day ( no garden
leave ) and his position was replaced by a clown. So there are two winners:
    1. Pulis laughing all the way to the bank and now with an owner who is passionate
    2. Pardew not at the back of the dole anymore because no other fecker wanted him!!!

I have said all along that the Board should be held to account ( check the posts ) because in my view, they are a feckin shambles and surprised that w anker Hammond did not follow the other two! Lai also needs to protect his investment and get over here more often and invest in quality or go and do one too!!!

What's happened to the quote function? I seem to be quoting myself. Or is it just me being thick.

    It’s you being thick.

You have to start your reply after the final word in the post you clicked on and that final word is always [QUOTE]

Not liked as in personable, warmth, listening to others, changing for the better etc. You don't have to like your own employees/direct reports but if they are effective and achieve. If they are non effective - you get rid. Like is emotional and emotions rarely figure in ruthless business.

Pulis was effective for a time and then became non effective because many put up with the style of football because the thing that mattered most was achieved - points!!! People then quite rightly turned on him when the points did not come in.

Everyone is different. Some would now say they are happy with a better style of football even though it means we could drop into the championship. Others like me, would say they would be happy to see awful football ( remaining games ), if it meant staying in this league! You don't get far for being nice!!!

Rodriguez is a classic example - had he fallen on the floor at Arsenal we would have been awarded a stone wall penalty and probably would have won as we controlled the game. Had Rodriguez dived last night, for sure we would have got a penalty, and had we scored first, it would have changed the match.

Rightly or wrongly in both these two penalty scenarios a class player like Hazard would have dived and got both penalties. Sometimes for being honest or liked you get nothing.

Get the drift Whicka or should, I draw you a picture!

PS - Pardew is not achieving as 8 points out of 13 is pathetic so some will say stick but others will say twist and bring in a top name as a last throw of the dice. I would say twist as something is clearly not right - did not see our players like crazed animals as Jose said Newcastle were - regardless of the result! Some of our players don't seem bothered/committed - why?
