Much has been spoken and printed about our spending this season. The EFL has looked at our Club and decided that we have not broken any rules. A number of our players are on loan although Neves did cost a reported £5.5 Million. These figures have been released recently, about the money that has been spent by Championship Clubs this season.
Aston Villa 67.8 million.
Middlesborough 62.7 million.
Hull 62.7 million.
Derby 41.1 million.
WOLVES 41.1 million.
Sunderland 40.6 million.
Fulham 37.4 million.
Norwich 36.8 million.
Sheff Wed 35.5 million.
Leeds 29.9 million.
Down to Burton 500,000
Hull 62.7 million.
Derby 41.1 million.
Sunderland 40.6 million.
Norwich 36.8 million.
Sheff Wed 35.5 million.
Leeds 29.9 million.
Hull and Sunderland look hilarious in that
We can't start throwing insults around about spending. We forked out 5.5m for Johnson and 5m for Butterfield.... that alone right there should mean we keep very quiet about FFP etc.
Dcfc think your forgetting something here we got £30 Million for Christie Hendrick Hughes and Ince that means we've spent £11million
That still doesn't hide the fact we spu*** 10.5m on Johnson and Butterfield. Not to mention 4m on Shackell. 3 of the most pathetic signings we've ever made, 2 of them now out on loan at Millwall and Sheff Weds ffs.
11m net spend (for that time period) doesn't sound too bad, but when you look at the wages we've chucked at some of these clowns it adds up to a fair whack.
Mel Morris might want to think about closing his wallet, he hasn't really spent his fortune well at this point.
A lesson in how not to spunk your wealth when you buy a football club!!
Owning/running a football club is a gamble and any gambler will tell you only spend what you can afford to lose. But what percent of gamblers do that. None what I know of!
