If you get the chance Jules have a look at Ferragudo. It's a little fishing village about half an hour away.
Nearly all locals and some lovely little bars & restaurants.
If you do go book in at Fim Da Mundo. Run by a big cockney woman, her husband is the Portuguese chef.
You can tell just by looking at her, she loves her food, and she'll sit down with you and talk you through everything on the menu.
We went about 6 years on the trot. Great friendly locals.
