For me, a defender is an optional extra.
My priority wish-list: any two from: an attacking winger; a quality No.9; Armstrong.
    All three would be good.
Incidentally, it sounds as if Caddis had a very good game for the Development team today.

In the final analysis, there are always Portuguese reserve players to fall back on. I remember how well that worked...

To be fair, Mowbray has said that. A defender in, would make him feel better. But it is only back up. He states he wants someone with experience. Not a young player with none. Explaining why Wharton has gone out on loan. He needs to be ready died when we do need him. Which was never now, this season.

The priority is a forward, and a winger. Preferably 3 forward thinking players. Personally I think midfield is sorted. We don't need anyone else. And I don't think he is looking.
Most clubs will do their business very late. Maybe even the last day. This is down to the WC and is affecting ALL clubs. Not just us. We are very busy working on deals. Most of our targets are also being targeted by the likes of Stoke (with Gallagher) who are far richer, and can offer more money. We won't panic buy to appease fans who haven't set foot in Ewood Park since we where a too half Prem side. Most sane people who understand football can see what's going on. Still loads of time. It will be fine

The best thing to do, is quickly spend £10m on panic buys, to please people who don't even go. That makes good business sense.

Then let's just have a chat about footy then? No ranting or raving, just a chat.

Unfortunately Sax thrives on confrontation, he just can’t help himself.

It is now maybe the third time he has endeavoured to be more amenable with his ‘debating’, but alas it always seems to end up antagonistic.
Just like Brexit, he sees the departure of Venkys as the be all and end all of our worries, but having no regard or consideration over the ‘fall out’ that would ensue.
I myself hold them responsible for our ‘financial predicament’, but likewise can see that there’s only really them that can possibly solve it.
I have no prob whatsoever in us ‘plying our trade’ in the Championship. It’s far ‘cleaner air’ than the Prem.

I'm not trying to be 'amiable', I've switched my views to this one thread, so nobody can complain about me 'ruining' their threads. You can choose to read my views, respond or ignore.
