I think that Matty Palmer will thrive this season, but in terms of break through, given that Palmer ha previous Championship experience, I think Kyle Vassell could be a big surprise. Once he has had a few months with PW's fitness regime he could be a great find.

I'm talking about players who are not currently regular starters or maybe one of the new boys.
Who could go on to make himself one of the first names on the team sheet this season?
    My choice is Matty Palmer.
I hope that you're right. but he's still very inconsistent. Even last week - great against Cardiff, almost invisible against Mansfield

Yeah I know what you mean but I would rather it was that way round to be honest.
I just have a feeling that the Championship may be more suited to his abilities.

Purrington/Raggett for me if they get regular games obviously
Now looks like Purrington might have played his last game in a Millers shirt... Hinds might get a first team call up sooner than most of us expected. Good luck to the lad, but he's only young and slimly-built

I hope you are right,Cloughie & most Burton fans say he was a bit of a luxury player only played when he wanted.Hope he his not another JCH wasting his talent. At times last season he gave me that impression that he could be a very good player again when he wanted.

Thought I'd resurrect this to see how the predictions were going so far.
Well I was miles out and so were one or two others 😊
I'd say Flourbasher was leading the pack at the moment with his suggestion of Ryan Williams.

    Don't get people tipping Palmer.

    He is lightweight and indecisive.

    Sell him in January.
