Panic buying in Jan may be too late and VERY costly which it wouldn’t have been in the summer. Disgraceful decision making AGAIN!

Aye. Dubravka and Kenedy saved our season last January...Rafa's really going to have to pull a couple of similar rabbits out of the bag (a forward and someone creative in midfield) if we're to have any chance.

    But-who sells a decent goalscorer mid-season?

And this is before we get to the issue of whether fatso will spend to get us out of trouble.

It'll take more than new signings. We're nailed on for relegation at this rate. Can't win when we're better or worse than the oppo. Points/Gane ratio that makes me want to hide under the bed sucking my thumb.

We're gan doon. Not because we lost at Man U. It's that we should have, at worse, drawn that game given the way we had them under the kosh for the first 60+ mins. It means we don't have the resilience, determination, skill, squad depth or 90 minutes fitness to dig ourselves out of this week after week. Home or Away.

    It's not looking clever, ladies.

    LOL not really.

We are a team that field the strongest and fittest 11 players that we have on match day. The subs, who are of worse quality, are brought on to replace injured or tired players. All they add is fresh legs.

Most other PL teams choose 11 players to play the tactics the manager wants at the start. If he decides to change tactics during the match he can pull various players off the bench to help him do that - Felaini and Mata were classic examples today.

In the fizzy Rafa rotated his starting eleven frequently. He´s doing it much less/not ata ll now because he just doesn´t have enough quality to do so. He´s working with his hands tied and despite the disappointment, TBH I´m well impressed with what he got out of our players today.
