    As it stands, I'd say 70/30 !

Until we know who the new man is I would say 60-40 in favour of relegation. If we make a decent appointment I would hope that my prediction would change considerably and if its Nolan I would say 80-20 in favor of relegation!

As things seen to just get worse with no let up it's going to happen eventually that we go out the league.

I'd say about 30% chance of going down. Could shift that to 50% if we don't bring in the right man.

I wish I could share their optimism, because I rate our chances of survival way less than that. So what does everyone else think if you had to put a percentage chance on our survival?

I'd put our chances of going down at lower than 20% provided we bring in the right manager. Of course that's a random figure plucked out of thin air like all the others as there are far too many variables to even try and predict and that's why we love footie. Fortunately there are still some optimists left and the heavy weight of the pessimists' endless doomsaying isn't going to drag my hope or support for the club down, regardless of who it turns out to be. If it actually was a Steve Thompson I'd be happy to back him.
