But in answer to your question , at the moment no but its over the season and i'd like to believe we will hit a decent run at some point and others will have ups and downs , i'm hopeful that by May we will not be bottom three.

It depends on what you mean by smaller.. They might have more fan base,but Burnley are far more a bigger club than any of them.. Anyway welcome to the board Attila,hope you are going to be a regular poster mate.

If you are going off fan base then we are a far bigger club than most clubs re- size of population and gates we have ..

Burnley population = 80,000 with an average gate of 20,000 ...I make that 1 in four people attend the games..

At the beginning of the season I posted a thread asking if anybody was optimistic about the current season.Much was said that whatever happens we will be OK because there are 3 teams that are worse than us.
Cardiff beat Wolves last night and dumped us in the relegation zone.
If anything,I think we are playing worse than the beginning of the season so can anybody please tell me which are the 3 teams that are worse than us?

At the moment we are the most underperforming team in the league and will be propping the league up before long unless things change drastically..

I have never liked this "bigger club" nonsense, for me its where you are and what's happening now, but per gates per population Middlesbrough have been the best supported Club, closely followed by Burnley.

Middlesborough has a population of over twice the size of Burnley does it not ?

The size of a clubs potential in terms of pulling power and fan base will have a baring on its posibility of attracting wealthy investors in my opinion.
