    Until the Americanisation of our language the word butt had nothing but an everyday, non innuendo, meaning.

    I remember seeing Fanny Hands Lane when I ws a kid every time we went to the Lincs coast for a family holiday, usually Mablethorpe!

    There's a cul de sac in Ossett called Turn O' The Nook

    There were several towns in England with a C*ntgrope Lane up until modern times - usually associated with prostitution. Present day sensibilities have caused the name to be changed to something a little less alarming...

    Just googled it CTmiller. We had one in Sheffield upto recent times. Now been changed to leppings lane.
