    Fixed that for you!

I wouldn't have thought it was a difficult situation to tell 8 or 9 of them that they just aren't good enough. The only issue is has AH the readies to pay off contracts and finance a hefty recruiting drive?

When AH arrived at the club, he was seen as our saviour, and that remains true today. It is impossible to guess where Notts would be today without his intervention. However, during his time as chairman, he has made some very poor decisions, and also too many silly comments and remarks. Difficult as it may be, he now has two choices if he wishes to see Notts retain their football league status., he either commits further funds and allows the manager to manage, or he throws in the towel, cuts his undoubted losses and watches the rapid decline of NCFC.
Personally, I hope he trusts the decision he made to appoint Ardley and provides the funds allow him to carry out the job he has been employed for.

… and if he has, can he trust his latest chosen professional football manager and his experienced Director of football to spend the money more wisely than Kevin Nolan and (to a lesser extent) Harry Kewell, who p*ssed several hundred thousand pounds up the wall?

Spot on Cheltenhampie. How he manages to run his other businesses is beyond me. Perhaps the person, obviously, doing it for him should run Notts?

In the real world - i.e regular employment - 'the coversation' would be very simple.

Basically it would go something along the lines of, you, you and you are sh!t, fcuk off.

Of course this is football so we're probably stuck with Nolan's drinking buddies for the forseeable future !

In the article, Scoop says we have a squad of "over thirty" players. There are 34 senior players listed on the official site, and then there are others who are listed there on the U18s page who have already appeared for the first team. So just how large is the squad? I've seen 42 suggested as the total.
