Am not saying tha wrong Kerr (cos tha nivva aar) burra think tha'll find it is Sky TV money keeping a lot of the clubs afloat nardays.

A remember the day when we were relying on ITV Digital money and we eddto gu into administration when it went t1ts up. Only Our Saviour, Patrick Cryne, was willing to step in to stop the club dying.

The £20 million they paid forrus is a p1ss in the ocean to them and we will come a long, long way down in their interests (both emotionally and financially). Goat ezza remit to not let the football side of things cost them any money ie balance the books, as they have done at OGC Nice. The'll mek mooar bank interest/profit globally in 20 minutes than any profit on players here.

Until we are told, or find art, WHY they bought Barnsley FC I shall remain wary of them and be on the alert for any attempt by Goat to pillak us on their behalf.

I think Kerr has made the classic error of thinking that the clubs accounts reflected the true position of the clubs financial position

I believe Goathair stated at a fans forum recently that the club shows a small profit on gates of 12k , more to the point it's sustainable on our present attendances .

However any transfer activity incoming clearly requires players to leave before any can arrive .

Now this is totally fine with myself , that's how I'd like to see the club run , no problem at all .

However what's puzzling me is that Stendel stated he was totally happy with the squad .

The sale of Potts was conducted without his blessing and wasn't his decision .

Goathair following the sale stated that it was necessary to secure future sustainability and short term investment , which suggests the books don't balance as he stated earlier in the season and the club are looking to add to the squad through loan acquisitions .

    It's a complete contradiction .

Once again we hit January and statements made earlier including the ex owners time here don't stack up , Mr Cryne's words became meaningless to me and it appears the new ownership are following the same path .

Little wonder there is suspicion and emotional reactions surrounding the club .

Some clarity and honesty goes a long way around these parts .

It's not much to ask .

They COULD wind the business up. Simple as that I’m sure. They OWN the club. If they wanted to shut it, and refused to sell it, we’d have no club.

The Council and Cryne family still own it via Oakwell Community Assets as far as I’m aware
