Not a big gambler, never have been. Last time I was tempted was to, um, take Notts for automatic promotion on opening weekend, seen as it was clearly our year.

Saw your link on the Bet Victor offer though (on another thread), and it did sound worth a try... Managed to get £20 from following your tip on Beware the Bear, and had a shot at Roksana as well which came in. And I missed the first two races! So thank you very much for the info on that one, very grateful. Please do feel free to keep highlighting good deals you see...

Unfortunately, that £5 other sport bet you have to put on to get the deal? I put it on Notts to win

Thank you for your comments, as long as you see it as a bit of fun you will be fine. The golden rule is to never bet more than you can afford to lose. I will post my selections for tomorrow (weather permitting) a bit later but I have a poor record on day 2 in recent years.

I really, really hope your £5 bet comes in.

What I care most about tomorrow is Altior winning and cementing his name among the greats. He'll never get the heart and juices going like Sprinter Sacre but he may just be a better racehorse (by a nose).
