Played Motherwell twice at home so there's one away game post-split. Nelms needs to be fighting Dundee's corner here to make sure it's St Mirren and Hamilton at home, otherwise what's the point in being everyone's friend bar Dee fans. You've then got winnable games against St J, Livi and Motherwell with big away followings, that would do

Think that might be a persuasive argument. Do StJ, Livi and Motherwell want the biggest away supports for their post split games or would they rather have to play us at Dens. Seems to me that it's a win for the opposition which might help our case. It does mean more traveling for the loyal Dee fans but they'd be supporting their team in their hour of need and you would think that St Mirren would bring a bigger support than either Livi and Motherwell, with only St J offering a faint possibility that they would turn out in the hope of relegating us - not much chance of that !! Everyone wins financially, and we escape to the playoffs by beating the three other teams on the road and managing to draw against St Mirren and Hamilton at Dens. Pigs might fly too!

Out of the current bottom 6, Motherwell are the only team we are due to play away. The other 4 are all due to come to Dens, one of these will likely get changed to an away game but we should be due 3 home and 2 away surely?
