I'm not wanting to get a 300 post thread going on this but imho looking from the outside in at both organisations there was intransigence on both sides.

I wud maybe concede FPS shud have been bigger and better since they have control and dfcss had some grounds to be in the cream puff but I can't be the only ordinary fan who thinks there's eejits on both sides.

I noticed on Pravda you posted you fear we are closer to the end game than many think.....I whole heartedly agree with that.

It also looks like Dundee legends who posts on here has been warning of not backing FPS n pravda, I'm assuming by snapping up season tics.

One thing I'm convinced of.....if there's no new ground (and I'm 95% there won't be) the yanks ain't pumping more money down a black hole.....can't make money at Dens in the top league they defo won't in dabland.

Think I said that asking for early season ticket sales might be part of an exit strategy. Only postulations of a grumpy old git and not to be taken too seriously mind.

Of course there were and still are issues on both sides, one of the reasons I bolted was an issue in DFCSS that FPS simply wouldn't accept and to be fair I 100% back FPS on that one - should never have been allowed to happen. Unfortunately 'the issue' used a loophole to do what they did and wouldn't listen to reason.

I understand from a post on TDB made by someone close to both DSA and the club that John Nelms isn't actually meeting fans' groups but groups of individual fans. I did find it strange that the term fans' groups was used because for me there are only two fans' groups as such, DSA and DFCSS, it's been made clear that it isn't DSA and there was no way it was ever going to be DFCSS. My view is that fans' groups represent their members whilst individual fans represent themselves so the terminology was maybe a bit misleading. Also seems very strange that nobody has posted on social media that they have been invited to it, usually news like that spreads through Dundee like wildfire.

Mibbe a bit like the queens honours if you let on early honour is withdrawn, maybe the invitation to meet Mr Nelms in the ivory tower wud be withdrawn.

If we go down and there's no new stadium the only way of making money is cutting costs.....one of our biggest costs is Dens.....I refer you to my earlier post of 18 mo this ago.....tannadice anyone?

I wonder what the criteria is for getting an invite?

I'd go aged over 50, flexible and always willing to listen and agree, hardly ever swears, posts constructive criticism on ground maintenance and staff, never ever make Nelms head swivel with a shout from the main stand like thon bird in the exorcist, no being to fussed at getting horsed oot the cups year after year after godamm year and think the Derry is now delightful place to take the family for an outing.

Post office musta lost meh invite as I was surely on the guest list.🙂

no-one on social media, thats for sure. Probably local sponsors, business guys who think cordial is shaking hands rather than a mixer for double vodkas in the 70s, the sort of guys who get through life with a nod and a wink, guys who make club captains at sports club. Ken any?
