Probably. Not a great start, but if we manage to bat out three sessions tomorrow it will be a "positive" to take from the game, and the points could be valuable later!

Hardly a great start though is it, even if we do bat it out and scrape a draw.
My County champship hopes are lower now this time, but I am still hoping for some one-day success, I think we are still capable of that. But you watch, it will probably be another failure in the Qtrs or Semis!.

Unbeaten stand of over 200 from Root and Ballance (Root has a ton) seems to have put the game safe as a draw

Which is great, but how many times will they be batting together this season?

Considering the first innings rubbish they've done well to get a draw.

Second that Casper, we’ve upset a few in Nottinghamshire over this weekend

Think Root has one more County Championship game for us.

Match drawn, Ballance got an unbeaten ton too. Yorks played well today, unlike the first three days.

Yorkshire player recruitment has been about as good as RUFC, the only difference is that Yorkshire is one of the most famous "county level" cricket clubs in the world and attracting players should not have been a problem....but it was... or was it a reluctance to spend money on players' contracts? It's a chance for some of the young lads to establish themselves in the team though - let's hope that they make the most of it.

Read Boycotts biographies, a real eye opener to the infighting and stubbornness of the commitee down the years. The books are typical “ Sir Geoff” but still a very good read, the second one covers more of the dreadful illness and the equally horrendous treatment he undertook
