Pulling a ball in from the bye line is the surest way to score

And you can't be offside when a ball is crossed from the by line ..

Let’s have a right go at landing Daniel James from Swansea. That would show some real ambition.

I rang Mike Rigg with this tip-off before, he asked "is he any relation to Sid or Leighton?"

The one person that never gets a mention on our thread is Aaron Mooy of Huddersfield.

Maybe as an Australian myself I have seen a fair bit of him both in Australia and in the Australian National team.

He has class and makes the midfield tick.

still has a few good years left in him and would complement our midfield and give us options.

Probably would be a realistic transfer and fee.

    Any other thoughts?

Mooy is a class act, I'd be delighted if we signed him, but I just can't see it happening. There must be many PL clubs considering making a move for him, and even if we were interested, the chances of us competing and winning a fight for his signature are negligible, about the same as the chances of the proverbial snowball in hell.

    Good shout though Blue.

Take him without a breath or second thought heeler.
Creative and an eye for goal - would be a good shout for us.
I’ll e looked at a few players recently who you think would be decent signings.

I still keep coming back to our very rigid shape which I think negates some of these players benefits to our team.

Nevertheless I’d like him at Turf Moor.

Here is what I posted on another thread...

If Brighton go down I would like to get Pascal Gross or Davy Propper in the midfield or Aaron Mooy from Huddersfield. That young lad Nathaniel Mendez-Laing looks a handfull.
