Piss poor. Looks like Darren Moores clone!! Bartley captain!!! Field will now vanish never to be seen again!!! Maybe Villa should rest their best players but they don’t!!

It will all end in tears! No momentum - still playing crap - Shan out of his depth but that’s obvious!!

    Jenkins out.....

It's a long time since we had a slanging match Al so my reply to that will just be 'no comment'...

Evening GLM! Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I can understand resting the odd key player with a like for like replacement. You are a sensible guy and called for Pearson which I thought would have been a good choice.

You can't though surely back up that team selection today? It really does look like it's Darren Moore through another pair of eyes and here lies the problem as well as the lack of experience.

There are more comings and goings in our first eleven than a whore house in Balsall Heath. It's usually a settled side with momentum going into the play offs so clearly that's not us!!! Are we awaiting the likes of the waste a space Livermore to come riding on a white horse against the Vile? If we are going to rest the odd player - why not rest Johnstone who was shaky again at the start. Every f ucking match is the same!

Honestly losing patience with the running of this side. We could easily have finished third as 2 points dropped today and Vile will probably beat Leeds. In the matches of late - tell me what tells you we will beat the Vile? The difference is Smith and Terry will easily outwit Shan for experience and technical know how and Mings and Grealish are two great talents which we are sadly lacking. Just pray Gayle does not get injured!

Jenkins - go f uck yourself!

If we are to get promotion we will have to beat Vile at some point so it might as well be first as last, I can understand all the frustrations and share with your views on Johnstone and why Boaz just sits around collecting dust when he has always been a very capable fill in for Foster in the past, don't know much about Bond to form an opinion on him. Personally I would have put Gayle on at the same time as Brunt as they seem to be hitting it off.

It could be that we just don't have enough decent players. Gibbs, Gayle, Philips, Dawson and Hegazi should always start when fit. I've never been one for resting players. Look at other sports. tennis sees competitors running round for up to three hours and will do this six times + during a tournament. Rugby players take a battering but are rarely rested. Golfers stroll round for several kilometres 4 days on the trot.
