Going back onto this Williams thing - and this is being ultra critical! He seems a modern day full back who gets judged on his ability to attack rather than defend - some of his defensive play at Plymouth was woeful in the first half and they got in down our right on quite a few occasions and he was knowhere to be seen as he'd gone bombing forward and leaving gaping holes at the back.

Doing this at Lge 1 you can get away with - however at Championship level I think it would leave us quite frail at the back when it's likely to get exploited more.

I do like him though and the only way he will improve is by getting games and he hasnt really had alot of football so couldve been lacking that bit of sharpness

I feel that the full back areas are a real weak spot for us and would like to see us sign a quality left back especially

And Cavare is no different. Gets caught out of position regularly, but that’s our Managers way of playing. I’m guessing the pressing will be toned down next season. I’ll back Jordan Williams to go far. Not with us though, he’ll get picked off quickly by bigger club
