'We didn’t have local elections here this time but the next election that does come around will have me voting for whichever party I feel give s the best chance of dumping Brexit'
Take your pick Ketts, Conservative, Labour, Lib Dems, Greens?
Isn’t it amazing how things turn out.
If Labour had continued along the “New Labour” theme and installed David Milliband as leader rather than his dribbling c nut of a brother they would be a “Remain” party.
With all the “Snowflakes” we’re now producing they’d be lining up to wipe the floor with the Tory Party at the next General Election.
True to form Labour gaze at their naval and install a a Trotsky who hates the EU and completely shoot themselves in the foot.
The Left Wing zealots are driven to rule Labour yet they fail to grasp that you win a decisive election result in the U.K. by winning the centre ground, even being centre with a soft left is acceptable.
The Conservatives are missing the same point in that centre with a soft right leaning is acceptable.
The Liberals should be able to take advantage of the two other parties extremes as “Leavers” who are staunch will stay with their failing dogma.....the “Remain” vote should coalesce behind them but that won’t happen.
IF remainers are sensible and united then the Libs should get a 40% vote at the next election but it won’t happen.
Labour’s best bet is to bin Corbyn, install a EU positive leader and write off the “Leaver” constituencies......but they won’t do it.
The Libs are the only way out for people wanting to remain.
Some good points Mick but surely the problem for Labour is that by the best estimates 60% of the Labour MP constituencies voted Leave so writing them off would cause almost as many problems for Labour as would writing off the Leaver constituencies for the Tories.
Totally agree though that they have to get rid of Corbyn.
