What a strange game , Spurs will be kicking themselves to catch Liverpool on such a poor showing , lacked belief in my opinion , reminiscent of ourselves in the FA cup semi final in 2008 I thought , the opportunity has now passed them by .

Only right I suppose that Liverpool come away from this season with a major trophy .

Let the emotional outpouring of Euphoria begin. Emotions only work one way with the Scouse

Agree Liverpool deserved a trophy. Strange game indeed. Liverpool despite their lacklustre performance in midfield and attack never ever looked in danger defensively. Early goal gave them something to defend and they did it very well. Let's not forget how good they've been defensively all season. Maybe Klopp had too many cup final heartbreaks and thort after that early goal that being the usual expansive team that they are might have played into Tottenhams hands. The midfield cancelled each other out and too many balls were played into the chanels which gave liverpool an easy night in all honesty. Spurs simply couldn't find a way of cracking the code

What a crap game, the penalty was one where given to you is good but against you is bad, no real flow to the game, reckon spurs dominated most of the play but in the end their passes were astray.
Shame I have to say but those dirty scousers won
So pleased they lost/ through away the premier league
Never won the premier league haha

Only a matter of time I feel , winning the champions league isn't to be sniffed at .

I reckon Pep would swap the PL title for that trophy if he had the choice .

Liverpool can now compete for the top talent with a champions league title behind them , it's sometimes the difference when the very best are available .

Rom a liverpool perspective It's what Klopp is building what counts for me rather than the winning this champions league. Benitez somehow won it back in 2005 but that didn't have the clout for Liverpool to push on and sign big and go onto better things.

Klopp has built a great team at the end of the day over a period of time that should be winning trophies and has finally delivered. I never felt Benitez built anything like what Klopp has and there lies the difference between a one off fluke and an imminent period of sustained success for Liverpool.

There's dare I say it a dynasty getting built at Anfield and you are spot on with your assessment Pass .

Different gravy to the last time they won the champions league , totally different feel about it .

I predict a wow signing at Liverpool this summer , wouldn't surprise me to see Mbapee arrive in all honesty .

Klopp's got a project that sells , Barca and Real Madrid are in transition and these deals have very fine lines attached to them .

Exactly Jules, but for some reason we can't say or 'suggest' that about the scousers anymore can we, because of the apparent 'emotional pull' that they have as a club & city.
I had little or no interest in this match tonight, but if I had to choose I would have liked to see Tottingham to win it.

And it was even more of a bore garbage fest for me the other night when it was Arsenal & Chelsea in the other Euro club Final. A Final between 2 English clubs btw, who had about 2 or 3 proper English players on the pitch out of 22!.

You could always knock the scousers from pillow to post for me , nobody on here will stop you .

The problem you have of course and I include Jules in this is that the Hillsborough disaster was proven to be no fault of the Liverpool fans , it's now a fact .

I ain't going to argue about their part in the Heysel Stadium disaster other than that could have happened during those times to many many clubs .

You do realise even today our own fans are some of the worst in english football given the arrests and banning orders , we just don't have the same profile fortunately .
