    Strong rumours we've been linked with and newspapers I've read today....luke Freeman, off to Sheffield, Costa, off to villa, mcburnie off to Sheffield, Kent, back to rangers........more whinge, whinge whinge.

    Doesn't seem that way, maybe waiting to off load Clarke and a few fringe players before we can buy, would rather get it done quickly and early, but if we can't, we can't.

    Reckon quite a bit hinges on the Clarke deal..hearing spuds have offered us 8 million quid!

    To be honest that's a fair price, when he first appeared on the scene he looked a fine prospect, no fears, attack minded and just went at defenders, wonderful. But unfortunately after his collapse in the dug out he wasn't the same, not his fault obviously, but just didn't seem match fit, maybe rushed back to soon, if 8 million helps us in some way that's how it has to be.

    The January window was our downfall in the promotion push and although I don't like to join in with the negative undercurrent of this thread I am afraid that pragmatically it is on the money. If our goal scoring hopes rest with that flimsy pansy Bamford then we really are up shot creek without a paddle (or a canoe).
