The clown fish can change its ***. If there's no male available one of the females changes to male to fertilize the eggs.
Odd that Disney didn't mention it in Finding Nemo

The one I really struggle to understand is "non-binary" What is that all about?
Nature is universally flexible - so following that thought I've always considered that thete are two genders. But in my opinion there is everything out there by degrees from the the total Alpha male (he man) to the Alpha female (she woman) with all the connotations of each stereotype. The dilutation of the "Alpha's" into the centre ground that sits equi-distant from both "Alpha's" really don't know which way to turn - so to speak.
And there's everything in between.
The myriad of personalities across this wide spectrum varies accordingly - as does the characteristics and ***ual preferences.
The reasonably new ***ual variation that's been recognised are the 'A***ual's' that have literally no interest in either ***.
The adoption of kids to same *** couples is now accepted but I'm with Chubby Brown - it used to be Adam and Eve NOT Adam and f#@$#n Steve.
Just call everyone "mate" and you'll be fine.
If we’re civilised enough this topic should never come up.
However we have a society where we accentuate a difference, whether that be gay, black, Martian, whatever.
We should be in a position where everybody is equal, but whilst we celebrate being different by having Pride events, Mobo awards and the like equality will never be achieved. If somebody organises a Pride event folks should be saying “why” and “what’s the point?”
The media don’t help, the BBC now has an LGBT correspondent and they pick employees on their ***uality and ethnic background not purely on their talent.
Equality means exactly that, equal, no positive vetting, no special events.
Achieve that, then we’re getting somewhere
Great point in that the people who don't want to be called or treated differently are the very same folk that organise marches and the like that shout - hey look at us. And that should be ok and is but the more extravagant individuals take centre stage and they are patently very "different".
At one stage in my career I was a Civil Servant and if you were a coloured gay physically challenged individual you were on a rocket to the top. Positive discrimination is as bad if not worse than the run of the mill discrimination. It creates potential failure due to the lack of ability to make a success of the position on offer.
I've always said that I don't care what anyone's personal preferences are as long as they don't try to shove it down your throat.
