Thread: 'sin bins' being introduced at grassroots level from the start of 2019-20 season.

A rule I'd like to see, which I think would benefit teams, is temporary subs when a player has to leave the field for treatment. When I say leave the field I mean off down the tunnel for stitches or whatever. I don't think it's fair that a team should have to play on with ten players V eleven in those circumstances. These 'blood' injuries often take up to ten minutes to sort out. The dynamics of a game can change dramatically in that time.
Having the option to make a temporary like for like substitution when this occurs would maintain the balance of the game and not put one team at an unfair disadvantage. As long as its like for like, and not bringing on an extra defender if your striker has to go off.

Bring it in and the sooner the better!
But you’ll still see it happen

What are the new rules that came in last season/coming in this season? I can’t keep up so I’m expecting the officials to be even more useless

    1. A goal kick does not have to clear the 18 yard area before being touched by a player on the kicking goalkeepers side

    2. In a penalty, the keeper cannot jump up or down or move side to side and one foot must be on the goal line when he/she is attempting to make a save. (Prime example seen in Scotland’s women team game during the World Cup)

    3. VAR to be used in Prem games.

    4. A Ref can be an even bigger tool with their decisions....... nah this one is not true.

I think there are more. Wrinkly usually picks these up.

Think 4 might actually be true Brin.

Be interesting to see what happened with them keeper rules

Guaranteed it’ll be one rule for us and another for them (opposition)
