You have to ask yourself, how many new baggies fan signed up to this site in the past year? Hardly. You only have to think back to the time when posters on here would do those tours on other message boards. Jeez, what a change this site has gone through. There isn't anything great about this site, it is the same ol same ol. Just my reflection on this site.

I genuinely thought the thread about Piles was finally something away from the usual negativity and that is saying something. Folk on here really should think about it, for their own sake and other posters.

Baggieal - even your suggestions aren't exactly what is going to help this problem. There is no fun in what you are suggesting. Yes I come on here mostly to read without posting myself, so what. I'm just saying, it has gone so downhill.

So you don’t post but would rather pull to bits what others post. I don’t get it!

In terms of the posts nobody is going to like them if they don’t agree with leave or the biased and disgraceful way remainers are behaving. My son was a strong remainer and even he has switched to leave due to the corruption by the likes of Bercow and clan,

In terms of the language - some need to get a life as it’s almost always in jest. Are we suggesting fans should sing at matches to Sian Massey - get your boobies out for the lads rather than tits. What about fans singing the referee is a basket case as opposed to
    w anker!

No language in bowls or whist drives 😭😭😭😭 so perhaps give this a go!

The international breaks always cause an increase in non football related posts. Yes, we’re all sick and tired of Brexit but it is politically enormous in our lifetime, so it will inevitably attract comment. This board used to have many more posters than now but that’s the way it is, I would say keep on posting, keep it going, if you don’t contribute then you really can’t complain if it fails. So, don’t moan about the board going downhill, post, make an effort to keep it going; you never know, with more posters may come a renaissance, maybe not, but if you don’t give it a go you will never know. I have made some good friendships from being on this board and regularly travel to matches with a former prolific poster. I have even met up with Mick for a non league game and enjoyed a beer! Please contribute, if you don’t put into something, it is unlikely that you’ll get anything out of it.

You are correct in that there is a lot of Brexit debate on here but it is the singularly biggest most divisive news story in most peoples lives in living memory. That said, there are still a lot of football threads which are driven by events on the pitch and in the general sporting news.

These may have got quieter lately due to not a lot happening with international breaks etc but comparatively, this site is way more active than our rivals boards and taking out non football threads there’s still more going on.

You could of course start a thread on football matters as I’m sure others will join in but it does seem a bit like complaining about an election result when you haven’t bothered to vote. It’s your choice in the end but you could influence your current view if you choose to.

Morning Al'. Leeds is a definite no no this season. Looking at Boro for my next away day, see you there hopefully. Stoke's currently an outside possibility at best. Enjoy today's sun before tomorrow's forecasted foul weather and equally foul early kick off.
