    I would say for a number of reasons .

    He lives in the area.

    He has a strong connection to the club as a supporter and a former player.

    Regardless of league positions currently PTFC are undoubtedly a bigger club that Ayr so he will be thinking long term and what the potential will be at both clubs .

    Depends which way he is travelling really, if heading to play Stranraer then yes Ayr are definitely miles ahead of United ��

    "the vultures will be in for the Ayr players in January" .....you would assume that he would be one of the vultures surely?
