    I disliked his Ashley remarks, he should've known better. However, he's still a decent captain for our club.

    Agreed, although i'd also place him above Fernandez myself.

    I think he is a good solid player, who is good for us and big in the dressing room - i certainly wouldn't take the armband off him but agree that Lejuene and Schar are ahead of him.

    We don't have anybody that isn't ordinary though - he at least wasn't afraid to stand up and call out our flaws.

    He is our 4th best CB. Lejeune and Schar are better at defending and attacking than him and Fernandez is a better defender. Lascelles has gone backwards over the last couple of seasons iMO, especially in attacking, set piece play.
