Nice one I forgot about that, my Dad did one years ago to avoid the 3 points. Cost more than the fine for the course though.

And if I do avoid a fine I will consider myself fortunate as it only happened because I was overtaking some p rick doing 20mph on a 40mph on a dual carriageway.
I’ve had 8 (and probably counting), domestic and abroad (ca 35 years of driving)... 😬 I do drive a lot though... 😎

Very different, but quite similar to yours, all in all. From 30 km/h to the highest, 120 km/h (probably ca 20 to 75 mph).

Yes the course doesn't save you any money but it does mean that you don't get any points added to your licence. I got a letter yesterday about speeding on the M20 last week. I was doing 58mph in a variable 50 zone which is one spot over the 10% + 2 limit. My frustration is that while I was on that motorway, I was constantly being overtaken by foreign lorry drivers who were probably doing speeds over 70 mph knowing full well that they would never be prosecuted!

I made this same point a few weeks ago.

I’m constantly finding myself being hassled by Arctic drivers when in average speed lanes on the motorway.

I’m driving at 49-50 mph and finding these a r s e holes six feet from my rear bumper and sometimes flashing headlights for me to move to the left to let them through.

Often it’s solid traffic in both lanes making it impossible to move inside and anyway, because I’m doing the speed limit I usually make these idiots wait.

Do these massive lorries not get picked up for their speed?

It also amazes me how many people fly past doing 60-70 mph.

You have to be a certain level of moron to do this but we seem to have a high number of this type of fool on our roads.
