Hopefully see a good turnout on Saturday
Wld keep shanks and Pawlett on bench and bring shanks on last 20/25 mins to give him a run out and game time. Wld bring Pawlett on late on also rather than shoehorn him and disrupt the team.
Hopefully see a good turnout on Saturday
Not making Saturday, working. Seems ages ago QoS game and with missing Saturday even longer. Arbroath away next game for me I think.
Totally agree for this one. Wonder how many teams have the luxury of having a "Lawrence Shankland" warming his ar*e on the bench? not many.
Play the above team on merit and if there is a goal scoring issue bring Shanks on when required.
VERY nice position to be in in my opinion.
Another clean sheet please guys, VERY impressive too, well done!
If Shanks is fit, I want him playing. Don't want him losing his touch in front of goal.
Why risk him from the start though when it's a three game week with Morton away in Tues night, time we'll tell though what RN decides
With regards Alloa, they haven't failed to score on the road in the league since January, so have scored at least one goal in each of their last 14 away league games and lose less than half of them
If we fail to start quick or lose any focus then a difficult afternoon could await.
I’m not convinced he’ll start, not just this Saturday either but Morton as well. A muscle tear is a hell of a lot different to a muscle pull. A muscle tear I would be expecting a minimum of four weeks, possibly slightly longer, to recover from as opposed to a pull which may be a couple of weeks. I’d be happier leaving him to Arbroath as that would make it four weeks from injury and much less likely to aggravate it. After all, we are seven points clear with a game in hand and coming up against second from the bottom Alloa. At home. Why risk him being out for weeks and weeks for the sake of a further seven days?
Put him on the bench, get the players right up for it from kick off and for the love of feck....don't give away any soft free kicks around our box...they are decent at set pieces.
3-0...easy peasy! (would take a scrappy 1-0 with a flukey goal off an erse)
Comfortable 2-0 utd, Clarke and Harkes
