And the problem with Bruce's awful style of football is that when it wins points, that's all it wins...it certainly doesn't win hearts.

And, when it goes wrong, as it did today, he doesn't have much goodwill in the bank to deflect any criticism. For a number of good reasons, Rafa had a huge amount of credit in the bank which meant he avoided the sort of criticisms a different manager would have after some of our performances. For different reasons, Bruce just doesn't have that and when we're as unwatchable as we have been, the stick will come quicker and harder.
